Once you check the Ramadan countdown, you will have to prepare for the dua accordingly. Let’s deep dive and see how each dua will impact your life during Ramadan.

What is Dua?

what is dua

In simple words, dua is a tool for Muslims to have direct and private communication with Allah. Dua has immense power for Muslims, and it is one of the blessed ways to have His mercy, guidance, and assistance in every field of life. When you make a dua, you are simply opening your heart to show humility and admit that you need His help. Whether you are crying through hard times or celebrating a dream come true moment, it is your personal space to talk with your Creator.

The beautiful thing about Dua is that you don’t need to learn any other language than your native language. You can make dua in any language in the world. Allah is the Creator of every language. He knows your thoughts perfectly. You can make dua at any moment of the day, but special times, like in Sujood or during Ramadan, these moments make your dua more powerful.

Why do Muslims make Du’a?

When you ask any human to help you over and over again, they will get tired of you and will disconnect from the relationship. But Allah asks the opposite. Dua is more than a routine practice. Allah says in the Quran, “Call upon me, I will respond to you” (Surah Ghafir 40:60). Dua is the private communication between you and Allah. When someone knows all my needs will remain private, they will ask more and more because the Creator Himself is listening.

Allah knows that you believe in His powers, and that’s why HE loves to listen. He has created you to seek His help, guidance, and blessings. Even if you make Dua in your heart (not loudly), HE pays attention to you immediately. That’s His love for His servants. Dua has no limits. It’s not always necessary for you to make dua in special events such as Salah or anything. Now note it carefully, you can make dua at any time, anywhere. Only one condition is applied: you must believe in Allah’s power, mercy, and promise.
